Formulators

Formulators are used to indicate the name of individuals or departments responsible for conceiving and maintaining item formulas and bills of materials revisions in Inventory > Bills Of Material. (useful in regulated industries) Formulators can be restricted to only have access to view and modify revisions assigned to them. Users with access to the "Inventory -- maintenance" setting will have the ability to create or modify formulators.

Edit Formulator

Field/Flag	Description
Name	The Name of the Formulator or responsible department, which must be unique.
Active	If checked, record is active.
Default	If checked, this will be the default Formulator on forms throughout the system that contain a "Formulator" field. Users may override the default if necessary.
